Located in British Columbia, Canada, Lake Country is a municipality situated approximately 30 kilometers north of Kelowna on Highway 97 North. The area was incorporated as a rural municipality in 1995 and has since expanded Lake City Vernon casino to include several nearby communities, including Okanagan Centre, Fintry, and Ranchero.
